I must say thank you to those who have given our family gifts this week. God is using you to meet every need we have. We are simply in awe!
The house Mark had listed sold! (Those of you who don't know, Mark was taking classes to get a real estate license when he lost his job. He had planned to do real estate part-time, "on the side" but since he lost his job he's been pursuing that pretty much full-time while still looking for a job... hoping that one or the other would make itself evident as a way to provide for the family.) The commission is split four ways (both agents and both agencies get a cut) and he should get his portion of the commission in February if all goes well. He will recoup the investment he's made into real estate so far, which is a huge blessing because we really needed that to happen! Praise God!
I'll leave you with a neat little quote that I read in my quiet time from the Matthew Henry Commentary. You know how sometimes things jump out at you when you are studying the Word? Well, this one jumped out and screamed at me!!
We should not pray so much for the removal of affliction,
as for wisdom to make a right use of it.
as for wisdom to make a right use of it.
